Itinerary Highlights:

San Antonio (Chile)

San Antonio is a Chilean city, commune and the capital of the San Antonio Province in the Valparaíso Region. It is the hub of the fishing area that spans the Chilean coast from Rocas de Santo Domingo to Cartagena.

Puerto Montt

Puerto Montt is a port city in southern Chile's Lake District, known as a gateway to the Andes mountains and the Patagonian fjords. The city's neoclassical cathedral, built from wood in the 19th century, overlooks Plaza de Armas square. Nearby, Casa del Arte Diego Rivera displays contemporary works by local and national artists. Just outside the city lie Caleta de Angelmó Market and Calbuco, an active volcano.

Castro

Castro is a town and comune in the Italian province of Lecce in the Apulia region of south-eastern Italy

Puerto Chacabuco

Puerto Chacabuco is a town in Patagonia, southern Chile, known as a jumping-off point for the Aysén fjords. To the northeast is Lake Los Palos, with views of snowy mountains. The forested Simpson River National Reserve, home to cougars, is southeast. The nearby town of Coyhaique has a craft market selling handmade items. Glacier-fed San Rafael Lagoon and the Northern Patagonian Ice Field are to the southwest.

Laguna San Rafael, Chile

Be awed by the huge and incredible San Valentin Glacier, one of four that move in every direction from soaring San Valentin Mountain. As your catamaran enters the lagoon through a narrow opening, you'll pass floating pieces of ice. Before you stands the brilliant and dense glacier.

Punta Arenas Chile

Punta Arenas is a city near the tip of Chiles southernmost Patagonia region. Located on the Strait of Magellan, which connects the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, its often used as base for excursions to the surrounding wilderness and Antarctica. The Plaza Muñoz Gamero has a memorial to explorer Ferdinand Magellan, and the Museo Nao Victoria features a replica of one of his galleons

Ushuaia

The worlds southernmost city is located on the Beagle Channel, between the Martial Range and the end of the world. It is a key access point to skiing at Cerro Castor and Glaciar Martial, wildlife adventures with penguins and orcas in the Beagle Channel, and Tierra del Fuego National Park. Of course, it's also the port of call nearest Antarctica, and a unique destination for kayaking, sailing or having a drink in a warm hotel bar.

Drake Passage

The Drake Passage or Mar de Hoces?Sea of Hoces?is the body of water between South America's Cape Horn and the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica. It connects the southwestern part of the Atlantic Ocean with the southeastern part of the Pacific Ocean and extends into the Southern Ocean

Antarctic Peninsula

A peninsula of land stretching out from the Antarctic continent towards South America. The Antarctic Peninsula is regarded by many visitors as being one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is included in many trips to Antarctica as it the easiest part of the mainland to reach, it also happens to be a fantastic place to visit

Port Stanley, Falkland Islands

Discover this quaint town, its cathedral, authentic English pubs, neat gardens, war memorials and fascinating landscape. Set off for an adventure on this South Atlantic island and visit a penguin colony and watch for albatross and skuas or go to a sprawling sheep farm.

Puerto Madryn

Puerto Madryn is an Argentine city on the coast of northern Patagonia. Its sandy beaches and restaurant-lined promenade face Golfo Nuevo bay, where southern right whales breed from May to December. Ecocentro is a clifftop museum with exhibits on Patagonian nature, and a lighthouse-style tower for ocean views. Across the bay, rocky Valdes Peninsula is home to penguins and elephant seals, which are preyed on by orcas.

Buenos Aires

Catch the opera at the acoustically magnificent Teatro Colón. Weekends in nearby Placa Francia are home to local artists' markets. Across town in colorful Boca (the birthplace of tango), head to the Caminito for Argentine art and crafts. No vacation in Buenos Aires would be complete without an evening at Señor Tango - an evening tango show complete with an Argentine steak dinner and tango performances. Spend the day shopping on the pedestrian street, Calle Florida, or enjoying the architecture as you walk along Avenida del Libertador to reach the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.
